Geraldton wax has achieved the status of a commodity because of its productivity, vase life, and suitability as a feature-filler flower in arrangements and posies.

Early – Flowers from mid July to mid August.
Middle – Flower from mid August to September.
Late – Flowers from mid September to October.
Very Late – Flowers end October.
Buds are available from May to July.

The pack rate varies according to variety, length and age of plant. On average the 80 cm is packed  125-150 stems in a box. The 70cm – 150-200 and the 60cm 250-300.
A box weighs between 10 and 12kg.
